Merivale’s award winning venue, The Ivy

To me the Ivy was never about opening one incredibly large venue but about opening 30 or 40 different venues over the course of the coming years. Every venue is treated as its own business. So it is really like having multiple smaller venues in this vicinity. In terms of the overall impact we are always trying to improve so it’s often difficult to see the forest for the trees.

I think a common factor between all our venues is the importance of providing lots of different choices and ensuring each of our venues maximises its revenue potential without compromising our guest comfort & enjoyment along the way.

We have worked successfully with the guys at Tecnic on the Ivy and also many of our other venues, they have assisted us in creating innovative and functional weatherproof outdoor areas.

The guys assisted us in transforming the Ivy poolside cabanas into comfortable all-weather outdoor areas. Aerotech Opening Louvred (and Tecnic Retractable Fabric Roofs in other areas of the venue) offer guests control over each their cabana roofs so if and when the weather conditions take a change for the worst they only need to flick a button to stay comfy & dry.

The overall look and feel of the area was maintained while we added some great flexibility and functionality to this space.

I would recommend the Darren & his team have been providing many our venues with creative outdoor solutions & good service for many years.

Located in North West Sydney, Lend Lease has received multiple design and sustainability awards, including this development being rated the fifth best sustainable urban development in the world.
Once again Darren & his team worked closely with the Lend Lease design and the project team on many of the sustainable design elements for this project including: Opening Roofs, Retractable Roofs, Membrane Structures, Architectural Umbrellas, External Sunscreens Blinds, Fabric Roofs & an innovative state of the art automated control system.

The $500m Darling Quarter and Commonwealth Bank Place precinct.

The Tecnic team installed the all-in one alfresco solution to the entire outdoor eating precinct that played a significant part in the success of this important project.
